"Love You To" is a song by The Beatles from the album Revolver. It is sung and written by George Harrison and features a tabla, an Indian drum played with the hands, as well as a sitar and a tamboura drone. Ringo Starr is the only other Beatle playing on the song, shaking a tambourine. Paul McCartney originally recorded background vocals for the song, but those were left out of the final mix.

It was the first Beatles song that seriously attempted to incorporate classical Indian music. Harrison was learning the sitar from Ravi Shankar, who inspired him to learn more about Indian music and Eastern religion.

The working title of the song was "Granny Smith."

A brief portion of the song was included in The Beatles animated film Yellow Submarine when Harrison's character is first introduced.

McCartney then "wrote 'Helter Skelter' to be the most raucous vocal, the loudest drums, etcetera" and said he was "using the symbol of a helter skelter as a ride from the top to the bottom?the rise and fall of the Roman Empire?and this was the fall, the demise."[1] (In British English, the term helter-skelter not only has its meanings of "confused" or "confusedly" but is the name of a spiralling amusement park slide.) McCartney has used this song as a response to critics who accuse him of only writing ballads.[7] John Lennon stated that that Helter Skelter is "Paul's completely ... It has nothing to do with anything, and least of all to do with me."[2] The Beatles recorded the song multiple times during the The White Album sessions. During the 18 July 1968 sessions, a version of the song lasting 27 minutes and 11 seconds was recorded, although this version is rather slow and hypnotic, differing greatly from the volume and rawness of the album version[citation needed]. Another recording from the same day was edited down to 4:37 for Anthology 3. On September 9, eighteen takes of approximately five minutes each were recorded, and the last one is featured on the original LP.[8] After the eighteenth take, Ringo Starr flung his sticks across the studio[9] and screamed, "I've got blisters on my fingers!"[1][8] The Beatles included Starr's shout on the stereo mix of the song (available on CD); the song completely fades out around 3:40, then gradually fades back in, fades back out partially, and quickly fades back in with three cymbal crashes and Ringo's scream. (Some sources erroneously credit the "blisters" line to Lennon; in fact, Lennon can be heard asking "How's that?" before the outburst.[10]) The mono version (on LP only) ends on the first fadeout without Ringo's outburst. The mono version was not initially available in the US as mono albums had already been phased out there. The mono version was later released in the American version of the Rarities album. According to Chris Thomas, who was present,[11] the 18 July session was especially spirited. "While Paul was doing his vocal, George Harrison had set fire to an ashtray and was running around the studio with it above his head, doing an Arthur Brown."[8] Starr's recollection is less detailed, but agrees in spirit: "'Helter Skelter' was a track we did in total madness and hysterics in the studio. Sometimes you just had to shake out the jams."7"

"I'm So Tired" is a Beatles song from the double-disc album The Beatles (also known as The White Album).

It was primarily written by John Lennon, though credited to Lennon-McCartney. Lennon wrote the song at a Transcendental Meditation camp when he couldn't sleep. The Beatles had gone on a retreat to study with the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in Rishikesh, India. After three weeks of constant meditation and lectures, Lennon missed his soon-to-be wife, Yoko Ono, and wrote this song. The fact it was recorded at three in the morning enhances the sentiment.

The song also mentions famed English author and explorer Sir Walter Raleigh by name in an ironic context, calling him a "stupid git" for bringing the tobacco plant to England.

Recording
The song was recorded at Abbey Road on 8 October 1968 and was completed including all overdubs in this one session. The Beatles also started and completed the Lennon-composed 'The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill' during the same recording session.

Relation to the 'Paul is dead' Hoax
At the end of this song, mumbling can be heard that sounds like "Ssim mih, ssim mihm, ssim mih. Nam ded see lope." When played backwards, some claim a scared voice intones, "Paul is dead, man, miss him, miss him, MISS HIM!" although there have been other claims that on different versions of this song, Lennon can be heard mumbling the words "Monsieur, monsieur, monsieur, how about another one?" The mumbling may be Lennon's attempt at speaking in reverse, without physically reversing the sound.

From Ringo's "Choose Love" album, the song Fading In, Fading Out was the European single. At the last minute they decided that a video was needed, so Ringo took literally a half an hour during a Soundstage rehearsal to shoot this video, which also included clips of the recording session. Ringo does play the drums on the song. Gregg & Matt Bissonette appear in the video as well as Mark Hart, but they were there for the soundstage shoot and are not on the actual track. Amazing what can be done in half an hour
